The SEC now makes publicly traded corporations proxy data available online
via the Internet. At the same time, the IRS releases Form 990 for
non-profit organizations that report the pay of the top five paid
executives. The collection of this data forms the basis for
literally tens of thousands of differing analyses (each organization will
most likely have a different peer group to which it wishes to be
compared). This course reviews the extent of the data available, the
way in which a professional can procure this data, and the analyses
methodologies available.
