This course is written for the
professional who gives advice and counsel to clients who are in the hiring
process AND for the manager professional who him/herself must staff an
organization. The advent and growth of the Internet has created a new
paradigm for the consultant. Traditional recruiters, newspapers, and
referrals are being overtaken by this new technology that increasingly is
capturing market share with the ease and availability of its data
retrieval. The agent or consultant should understand how the Internet
works, how online recruiting operates, and the potential for abuse(s). It
is in this latter area where one's client list, internal professional
telephone and personnel lists, and other privileged information can be
used against the well-being of one's firm.
