With today’s expanding global market and fluid workforce, employee relocations are on the rise. Your organization will likely require a relocation policy to recruit new hires and facilitate employee transfers. These moves will include selling and buying homes, transportation of household goods and family members, and settling-in costs such as temporary housing.

Providing assistance to organizations regarding issues related to relocation, transfer, or a facility move is one of the most perplexing problems for the business professional. Simple questions often require hours of research, most of which is typically spent finding the source law or defining the question. This course is designed to introduce the professional to the analyses and reports related to employee relocations within the U.S. You’ll learn how to prepare relocation packages for different employee groups based upon calculations of cost-of-living comparisons, moving expenses, and housing cost assistance.
